Despite being a Finnish company based in the European Union, and having our service operated within the boundaries of the European Union, we have decided that our policy is to do our best to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ( defined and enforced in the United States of America.

This decision to follow DMCA is due to the fact that at the time of the launch of HITPAGES service, the European Union lacks corresponding, unified and standardized approach in providing framework for dealing with online copyright infringements.

We respect authors’ and content holders’ rights, and it is our policy to respond to clear, legally valid notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the criteria established by DMCA.

If you are a copyright holder and you believe that any page previews visible on HITPAGES service infringes your copyrights, then you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by following the instructions outlined in our DMCA copyright infringement takedown notification policy.

HITPAGES reserves the right to remove any user content without notifying the user who entered such content, and without providing such infringing user with an opportunity to submit a counter-notification of any kind.
