INFORMATION ABOUT CHANTILLY GOLF CLUB
Chantilly Golf Club has been inaugurated in 1909. It has been designed by the British architect Tom Simpson who realised many of the most famous golf courses in France : Morfontaine, Fontainebleau, Hossegor, …
S.A. Prince Louis Murat, first President and founder of Chantilly Golf Club, was an eminent sportsman. When Prince Murat left the residence, golf found in the Baron Edouard de Rothschild a new President as generous as enlightened.
Chantilly Golf Club has two 18-holes course: “Vineuil” and “Longères”. The 2009 International European Amateur Championship will be played on the Vineuil course. Players should enjoy this very interesting old course that deserves the respect of modern-style golf. The Vineuil course record was made by Mr. Peter Mc Evoy at the 1983 European Team Championship with a score of 63.
