    Fonnwork not supporting concrete, such as sides of beams, walls, columns and similar parts of the Work, may be removed after cumulatively curing at not less than 50°F for 48 hours after placing concrete, provided concrete is sufficiently hard to not be damaged by fonn removal operation and provided that curing and protection operations are not maintained.

    Fonnwork supporting weight of concrete, such as beam soffit, joists, slabs and other structural elements may not be removed in less than 14 days, and not until concrete has attained design minimum 28 day compressive strength. Detennine

      Side fonns of footings may be omitted and concrete placed directly against excavation only when requested by the Contractor and accepted by the Architect. When omission of fonns is accepted, provide additional concrete 1 inch on each side of the minimum design profiles and dimensions shown.

      Thoroughly clean fonns and adjacent surfaces to receive concrete.

        • A.

          Provide top fonns for inclined surfaces when slope is too steep to place concrete

with bottom and side fDIms only.

      Provide keys and reinforcing continuous through any cold joints unless noted otherwise on Drawings.
