ROOF & DECK INSULATION
SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to furnish and install thermalligid polyisocyanurate board, as described in this section.
The Contractor shall provide descriptive submittals in accordance with the provisions of Section 01001 of these Specifications. Submittals include, but are not limited to, the following:
Catalog data, manufacturers and other data needed to prove compliance with the requirements of the section and the referenced documents.
Manufacturers recommended method of installation.
Thickness indicated is for thermal conductivity (k value at 75 degrees F) specified for each matelial. Provide adjusted thickness for equivalent materials having a different thermal conductivity. Provide thickness required to achieve indicated "R" value when so specified.
Patt 2 PRODUCTS
Rigid fnsulation: Extruded sloped polyisocyanurate, R-value 5.0 per inch, compressive strength 25 psi, and water absorption 0.1.
Access0l1es: Adhesive and fasteners as required.
A. Atlas Roofing or equal
The Contractor shall verify that the work of other trades is complete to the point where this installation may properly commence, and that adjacent materials are dry and ready to receive the insulation.
The Contractor shall velify that mechanical and electrical services with wall are installed and tested before installing the insulation.
