Fully Adhered TPO Single Ply Membrane
Wood nailers shall be installed as specified by the project specifier and shall be in compliance with the Manufacturer's Standard Details.
The thickness of the wood nailer shall be determined so that the top of the nailer is flush with the top of the surface of the insulation.
Wood nailers installed along the perimeter of a roof surface, where a drip apron or gravel stop shall be installed, shall have a width that is wider than the metal flange to be installed.
Where pitch pans or scuppers are to be installed over wood nailers, the wood nailers must be wider than the metal flanges.
Insulation shall be secured to roof deck with insulation adhesive. Apply insulation adhesive as per manufacturer's instructions.
All insulations shall be of sufficient thickness and density to prevent breakage under normal roof construction traffic.
Refer to the insulation adhesive manufacturers guidelines for proper installation procedure.
Insulation shall be cut to fit snugly around or against all protrusions, nailers, drains, pipes and walls. All gaps greater than 1/4" wide shall be filled with the same material.
Do not install any more insulation than can be covered by the membrane by the end of the working day and made watertight.
Crickets and saddles may be installed beneath the new roof insulation where possible. Any crickets and saddles made from non-compatible insulations or materials must be overlaid with an acceptable insulation or underlayment to which the membrane may be adhered. For crickets and saddles with slopes greater than 2" per foot, the membrane must be mechanically attached at each angle change.

TPO Bonding Adhesive Application
Once several sheets are rolled out, carefully positioned with the proper overlaps
and have relaxed, each sheet shall be folded in half, lengthwise. A smooth, even coat of TPO Bonding Adhesive shall be applied to both the insulation and the exposed bottom side of the membrane.
Adhesive shall be applied to each surface at a rate of approximately 120 square feet per gallon with minimum 1/2-inch thick nap solvent-resistant paint rollers. Due to the porosity of different insulations, coverage rates may vary. Once the membrane is mated to the substrate the "finished coverage rate" will be
