      • 1.

        All toilet partitions and urinal screens shall be factory prefinished with baked enamel in the colors selected by the Architect fi:om the manufacturer's standard range of colors.

    • C.

      Manufacturers

        • 1.

          Design is based on "Corinthian" overhead braced partitions and type WH urinal screens, as manufactured by Metpar Steel Products.

        • 2.

          All toilet partitions and urinal screens shall be the product of the same manufacturer and shall be the ones upon which design was based, on of the following or an equal approved in advance by the Architect:

          • a.

            American Sanitary Partition Corp.

          • b.

            Knickerbocker Partitions Corp.

          • c.

            Metpar Steel Products

          • d.

            Samymetal Products Co.

      • 2.02

        PARTITION AND URINAL SCREEN TYPES AND ACCESSORIES

  • A.

    Metal toilet partitions shall be floor mounted, overhead braced. Urinal screens shall be wall hung.

  • B.

    Partitions and urinal screens shall be one-inch nominal thickness, galvanized steel with baked enamel finish. Hardware shall be heavy-duty type, consisting of brackets, fittings and trim of materials and finish appropriate to their use. Brackets and hinges shall be stainless steel.

    • 2.03

      MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS

      • A.

        Materials and components shall be of manufacturer's standard line for commercial/light industrial duty and shall be the product of the same manufacturer.

EXECUTION

    • 3.01

      SURFACE CONDITIONS

      • A.

        Before installing the work of this section, the Contractor shall carefully inspect the installed work of all trades and verify that all such work is complete to the point where this installation may properly commence.

B. The Contractor shall verify that the installation of toilet partitions and urinal screens will be in complete accordance with the original design, the approved shop drawings and the manufacturer's recommendations.

The Contractor shall notify the Architect of any discrepancy and shall not proceed with installation until such discrepancies have been fully resolved.
