Part 1 - GENERAL
SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to clear, gmb, remove and dispose of vegetation and debris form entire site.
The Contractor shall protect from defacement or other damage any vegetation and items designated to remain.
The Contractor shall conform to all applicab1e codes for disposal of debris.
The Contractor shall coordinate the work with the Utility Companies.
Part 2 - PRODUCTS
The Contractor shall identify, locate and protect existing utilities from damage, whether shown on the Contract Drawings or made known in the field.
The Contractor shall protect all existing control points or benchmarks, whether shown on the Contract Drawings or made known in the field. Control points and benchmarks, which interfere with the site work or new constmction, may be removed with the approval ofthe Architect.
The Contractor shall prevent dust from becoming a nuisance to the public in the vicinity of the site or to other work being done on or near the site.
The Contractor shall keep the site accessible to the Architect and Public Safety vehicles and equipment at all times.
CLEARING OR GRUBBING
The Contractor shall clear and grub all surface debris, roots and other objectionable protmding obstructions within the construction limits for the site, except any such trees and vegetation designated to remain.
The Contractor shall remove completely all stumps, roots and other debris protmding through the ground surface in areas beneath buildings, sidewalks, roads or parking lots. Elsewhere, removal shall be to a depth of at least 12 inches below the existing ground surface or sub grade of new graded surface.
