WebCT Vista access. If you are reading this syllabus, you probably have Vista access. If not, go to http://www.gpc.edu/webct and get your Vista login.
MyMathLab Access Code. A MyMathLab (MML) Access Kit can be purchased at GPC campus bookstores. This access kit should be bundled for free with the purchase of a new textbook or it may be purchased separately. You may also purchase the access kit online at http:// www.mymathlab.com. To register with MML, use Course ID: hendricks61083.
TI-84 Graphing calculator. You are required to have access to a TI-84. (The TI-83 calculator is also acceptable for this course.) A TI-89 or TI-92 calculator is not permitted for this course.
Textbook (optional but recommended). Because an electronic version of the textbook is available in MyMathLab, you do NOT have to purchase a textbook unless you choose to do so. The textbook is Beginning and Intermediate Algebra (4th edition) by Lial, Hornsby, & McGinnis (2008).
NOTE: If you have a 3rd edition of the book, I recommend that you only purchase the MML access code since you will have access to the 4th edi- tion book online. There are really not significant differences between the two books.
