Non-Agenda Items

In order to finish the long agendas, M. Taylor expressed the importance for the meetings to move quickly.  The larger than usual amount of curriculum review will result in heavier agendas.  Curriculum Committee members were reminded to note typos to the Curriculum Assistant for correction, rather than bringing them to attention of the whole committee.  M. Taylor reminded Curriculum Committee members, if at all possible, to contact the presenting faculty prior to the meetings regarding concerns.

M. Taylor announced that Linda Faith will be moving to the President’s Office.  This will impact the ability of the Office of Instruction to process curriculum until there is a trained replacement.  Faculty may be required to submit clean digital copies of the materials that require only minor clean up.

M. Taylor received positive feedback from Curriculum Committee members regarding the possibility of the Curriculum Committee meetings being held in a computer lab.  M. Taylor will review the available options and report back to the Committee.
