Backup Data Send Programming

Use the following procedure to select the menu option “16 BACKUP SEND”:

Backup data send

Your POS terminal can send data to another device by RS232 (channel 2).

Program each item as follows: Procedure

  • SEND DATA (Use the selective entry) Select one of the following options (data sources): ALL RAM

SSP

  • SPEED (Use the selective entry)

Select one of the following options (data transmission speeds):

PROGRAMMED SPEED:

Sends data at a programmed speed.

115200bps 57600bps: 38400bps: 19200bps: 9600bps: 4800bps: 2400bps:

Sends data at 115200 bps. Sends data at 57600 bps. Sends data at 38400 bps. Sends data at 19200 bps. Sends data at 9600 bps. Sends data at 4800 bps. Sends data at 2400 bps.

Use the following procedure to select the menu option “17 BACKUP RECEIVE”:

Select one of the following options(data transmission speeds):

Receives data at a programmed speed.
