Happy New Year!

make a new 2011 Get “R” working on these quilts.
There are lots of opportunities to participate in quilting activities in 2011. Lynn Woods has set up wonderful programs for us this year. In addition to the regular programs, there is the Mystery quilt, the Black and White with a Splash president’s challenge, Quilting Day at Heritage Village in March, Quilt Retreat in April, Brown Bag Challenge, and charity quilt activities. There is a lot of work that goes into organizing and setting up these programs and activities, so sign up for a couple of them and have fun with other PQ members. Please support your guild in 2011.
I want to thank the following people for help sewing and decorating the fabric picture frames that were given as favors at the Christmas party: Susan Herman, Pauline Mallory, Karen O’Malley, Marguerite Connolly, Mary Ann Leonard, Barbara Leonard, Jill French, Joanne Kyne, and Elaine Rice.
