Type of contacts. The type of contacts between parents and SALs included individual face-to- face, pre-treatment group meeting, and informal exchanges (e.g., telephone call, chance meet- ing in the office to participate in child visits). Participants met individually with SALs a mean of 2.33 times (sd 2.00, range 0-12), 1 time in groups (sd 2.10, range 0-11), and 1.67 times in informal contacts (sd 2.28, range 0-14) (Figure 15).
