About one-half (51%) of participants were assessed as needing outpatient treatment, 25% as needing inpatient treatment, and 18% as needing intensive outpatient treatment (Figure 29). Of parents who were assessed as needing treatment, 63.5% actually entered treatment (Fig- ure 30). This compares favorably with the outcomes of the Illinois Title IV-E Demonstration Waiver project, where 53% of clients in the demonstration group participated in treatment (Ryan, 2006).
