Eric Vincent and Becky Marquardt named vice presidents, sales, Disney ABC Kids Networks

BURBANK, October 24, 2007 . . . Disney ABC Kids Networks, the advertising sales and promotion group for Disney Channel, Toon Disney and ABC Kids, has promoted Eric Vincent to Vice President, Sales, for the East Coast region, and named Becky Marquardt, Vice President, Sales, for the Midwest region. The announcement was made today by Michelle Scarola, Senior Vice President, TV Sales, Disney ABC Kids Networks, to whom both Vincent and Marquardt will report.

The team is part of Disney Media Advertising Sales and Marketing Group, which is responsible for all advertising sales, marketing and promotions business for The Walt Disney Company's kid-driven and family-inclusive TV platforms, its wide range of online offerings, its kid-focused publishing business and its kid- and mom-focused radio platform.

“Eric and Becky bring a breadth of experience that will drive the growth of our business moving forward," said Scarola. "We are thrilled to have them join our team."

Mr. Vincent was most recently Account Executive, Sales, ABC Family.  A 14-year media sales veteran, he will oversee the East Coast Television Ad Sales strategy for Disney ABC Kids Networks. Vincent joined Disney as Associate Director, Primetime Sales Proposals, ABC, in February 1999. He was recruited from Mediacom, where he was Supervisor, Media Buying from September 1997-February 1999. Prior to Mediacom, he spent three years at TN Media working on various accounts from SC Johnson to Nabisco Foods. Vincent began his career as an Account Executive at Cable & Wireless, Inc.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Vincent earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University, New Orleans.  He is based in New York.

Becky Marquardt will oversee the Midwest Television Ad Sales strategies and support West Coast sales efforts for Disney ABC Kids Networks.  She joins Disney after a 20-year career at MTV Networks, where she was Vice President, National Advertising Sales and responsible for territories from Texas to Minnesota. Previously, as Director, National Advertising Sales for MTV Networks, Marquardt worked on multi-level media deals for Nickelodeon. She began her career as a Traffic Coordinator for the Commercial Scheduling department at MTV Networks.

Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Marquardt has a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Purdue University.  She is based in Chicago.
