Bill Hoy, Grief Specialist
Dr. Hoy, Executive Director of Grief Resources, Inc., has counseled with people in grief for more than 20 years. From 1996 until 2006, Bill directed the bereavement program at Pathways Volunteer Hospice in Long Beach, California, a program in which he still serves as clinical advisor. From 1994 until 2003, he taught bioethics, counseling, and death studies on the health science faculty at Cypress College. In addition, Bill continues to work with dying patients and bereaved families through his work as Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator.

A licensed funeral director for nearly a quarter century, Myers has committed himself to the funeral service profession on a state and national level. He served on the Utah Funeral Directors Association’s Executive Board from 1999 to 2001, and was president from 2002 to 2003. He has served as Chair of the Budget, Convention, Disaster Preparedness, Legislative, Mid- Winter Meeting, Nomination, and Public Relations Committees of the Utah Funeral Directors Association.
Nationally, Myers has served as Utah’s representative to NFDA’s Policy Board. He is a member of the Professional Conduct and Campaign Reform Work Group committees.
For the past 10 years Donna has been the Nurse Epidemiologist for North Central District Health Department, Region 2. Her responsibilities include community education related to infectious and communicable diseases, as well as disease outbreak prevention, investigation and control. Donna is also a member of the Region 2 Public Health Preparedness Bioterrorism Team.
