16.15 RESOURCE ESTIMATE
The Star Kimberlite geological model and Mineral Resource Estimate are based on 285 surface diamond core drillholes, 213 underground diamond core drillholes, 10,547.87 carats recovered from 66,545.09 dry tonnes of underground bulk sampling and 103 LDD holes, of which 96 LDD holes reported diamond sampling data. All reported resources are contained within a conceptual floating-cone pit shell (Figure 16.8). P&E are of the opinion that the sampling protocols, geological modelling and diamond valuation are adequate for Mineral Resource Estimation, and that the methodologies and classification used in this Resource Estimate are in line with standard industry practice. Mineral Resource Estimates are tabulated in Tables 16.9.1, 16.9.2 and 16.9.3.

Mineral resources are accumulated within an optimized floating-cone pit shell.
Mineral resources which are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability. The estimate of mineral resources may be
materially affected by environmental, permitting, legal, title, taxation, socio-political, marketing or other relevant issues. (3) The quantity and grade of reported inferred resources in this estimate are conceptual in nature. There is no guarantee that all or any part of the mineral resource will be converted into a mineral reserve.
