This Technical Report is prepared in accordance with the requirements of National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) and form NI 43-101F1 of the Canadian Securities Administrators (“CSA”). The mineral resources in the estimate are considered compliant with the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (“CIM”), Standards on Mineral Resources and Reserves, Definitions and Guidelines prepared by the CIM Standing Committee on Reserve Definitions and adopted by CIM Council December 11, 2005.
During the course of the Resource Estimation process for the Star Diamond Project, P&E and Howe had personnel visit the site on several occasions to review the status of the project, conduct audits, and discuss future plans with Shore staff.
Site visits by the QPs for the report were as follows:
Mr. F.H. Brown, Senior Associate Consulting Geologist of P&E on May 6, 2008;
Mr. F.H. Brown of P&E and Mr. D.C. Leroux, Vice President of Howe on July 14-16, 2008;
A representative of Howe (Mr. H. Coopersmith), visited the on-site Processing Plant on September 29-October 3, 2008;
Mr. E.J. Puritch and Dr. W.D. Ewert, principals of P&E on October 27-28, 2008; and
A visit to the SGS Canada Inc. laboratory in Saskatoon (“SGS Saskatoon”) on December 15, 2008 and Mineral Services Canada (“MSC”) laboratory in Vancouver on December 16-19, 2008 by a representative of Howe (Mr. H. Coopersmith).
Shore has accepted that the qualifications, expertise, experience, competence and professional reputation of P&E’s Principals and Associate Geologists and Engineers are appropriate and relevant for the preparation of this report. Shore has also accepted that P&E’s Principals are members of professional bodies that are appropriate and relevant for the preparation of this report.
The purpose of the current report is to provide an independent, NI 43-101 compliant, Technical Report and updated Resource Estimate on the Star Diamond Project. P&E understands that this report will be used for internal decision making purposes and may be used to support a feasibility study on the Star Diamond Project. This report will be filed as required under TSX regulations.

In preparing this report, P&E reviewed geological reports and maps, miscellaneous technical papers, company letters and memoranda, and other public and private information as listed in the “References” section at the conclusion of this report. P&E has assumed that all of the information and technical documents reviewed and listed are accurate and complete in all material aspects. While P&E carefully reviewed all of this information, it has not conducted an independent investigation to verify its accuracy and completeness.
In addition, P&E carried out discussions with the local management, consultants and technical personnel of Shore, in particular, Pieter Du Plessis - Vice-President of Exploration, Bill van Breugel, - Project Manager, and Shawn Harvey - Geology Manager.
