Blessings to all at Christmas and the New Year :-)

Bridget and all in Singapore

Dear Lay Scalabrinians of the Our Lady of Fatima Group,

Greetings from Chicago to each one of you!

Know that I have just been back from Toronto, Canada and I have this pleasant surprise to share with you:

I am immensely happy and grateful to God for the opportunity to have known and met the members of the LSM nuclei in Canada. Now I can link names with faces, bringing to life a once was known to me merely as LSM Canada. I met with Lay Scalabrinians who are "migrants among the migrants". They are by origin from Italy, India, Philippines, Lebanon, Indonesia and China...a melting pot of colors in Canada.

Given the challenges inherent to the ongoing migration of peoples to Canada and including the situation of second and third generations of immigrants, we now can count on two (2) LSM nuclei in Canada.

Yes, a new nucleus has been formed with an elected Coordinator and Vice Coordinator. The nucleus is called the Assunta LSM nucleus - Canada.

Coordinator - ANGELA MANGIACASALE (Italian by origin)

Vice Coordinator - PAUL D' SOUZA (Indian by origin)

The nucleus secretary was likewise nominated: Mona (a Lebanese by origin).

Both have accepted the election and are happy to integrate with our expanding LSM OLF Family. They deserve our welcome and congratulatory messages.
