Iris & Dick Thurston:  Quite busy with their family, one is in graduate school, one in high school. and one married plus a family reunion has kept them on the go.  Dick anticipates a busy year, Dean of the Performing Arts at Oklahoma City University; guest conducting, conductor of the City Jr. Symphony and adjudicating.  He and Iris will attend the International Conference of Dean of Fine Arts being held in October at Amsterdam Holland.

Boyd Eagle:  After retirement from the USAF, Boyd went back to school and taught for several years. He still is playing, performing in a local band, enjoys life and wishes to be remembered to his many good friends.  Sends his thanks to Alf Heiberg, for his kind remarks in our last bulletin.

Betty & Mark Azzolina:  Quite busy with the 1984-85 season of the Boca Raton "Pops".  Artists appearing on their program are: Oct 16 - Anna Maria Alberghetti (Soprano); Nov 6 - Johnny Desmond (Baritone); Nov 27 - David Carlson (Pianist); Dec 18 - John Shev and Bibletown Choir; Jan 8 - Jane Powell (Soprano); Jan 29 - Shirley Azzolina (Soprano); Feb 12 - Patrice Munsel (Soprano); Mar 5 - Carmel Quinn (Songstress); Mar 26 - Christopher Contillo (Pianist); Apr 16 - John Raitt (Baritone).  Mark has extended a kind invitation to all of our members - if you are in the area and wish to attend a concert - please phone the Pops office and complementary tickets will be reserved for you.  You may wish also to check their schedules at Palm Beach and North Palm Beach, Fl.

Connie & John Osiecki:  Still quite active in the music business.  Plays in a quartet - parties and club dates.  Produces commercials for radio & TV and works for Associated Production Music in Hollywood, CA as a consultant.  Still enjoying life and good health; active golfer and President of North Ranch Country Club.

Barbara & Mel Huyett:  Enjoying life in their Huyett Corp a Multi Million dollar Corp.  Business travels take them to Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, San Francisco, CA, and Hawaii.  They both are in good health.

Hank Uhland:  On 22 May started a 27 day Eurail tour of Europe; Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Austria.  Hank writes, "Of course, after nearly a month abroad I returned home as an instant expert on European affairs.  For example, I can come out flat-footedly and say from personal experience that French is widely spoken in France, that beer is rapidly becoming the national drink of Germany and that there exists in Spain a strong minority adamantly opposed to bullfighting; THE BULLS."

Blanche & Bob Ailee:  Selling insurance and playing in various community bands around the area.  In good health and staying out of the snow as much as possible in Vermont.

Ruth & Guy Powell,:  Doing fine and enjoying life in the "Mile High" city.  Send their best to everyone.

Ruth & John Kirkpatrick:  Very much involved in community theater; last production was "Music Man".  Both sang in the show and John also plays string bass for the community playhouse.  Anyone visiting the Dallas area is welcome to visit them and stay in their home or if you have an RV motor home or trailer, he has a complete hook-up under nice Oak trees in their backyard.  They have a new box number for mailing: Box 1480.
