Seniors Day at the Rubin Museum

A Day in Greenwich

Experience Seniors Day at the Rubin Museum with fellow Club Members. Enjoy a light and delicious lunch in the café before viewing a special film. Then, delve into the museum’s collection further with a private tour. Feel free to explore the museum further at your leisure at the conclusion of the tour.

Cost: $25 (includes lunch and private tour)

All reservations are final sale. Please meet in the café at the museum. The Rubin is located at 150 West 17th Street. This event was originally scheduled for March 2.

By special arrangement with the Head of Parks for the town of Greenwich, CT, we are invited to come by train from Grand Central to Greenwich and embark upon the 11:00 am town ferry for an hour-long cruise on Long Island Sound with views of the Greenwich waterfront, Indian Harbor Yacht Club, and other landmarks. Lunch will follow the boat ride at Mediterraneo on Greenwich Avenue. Return to Grand Central on one of many convenient trains after looking around town on foot, if you so choose.

This event was coordinated by Seniors Committee member John Moore. Cost: $50 (guests to pay train on own; Seniors: $10.75 / Adults: $16)

All reservations are final sale. We will take the 9:37 am train. After buying a ticket, please meet the group at the clock in GST by 9:30 am.

Hudson River Sail

Saturda , July 11, 3:45 pm

Avast, Club members! Please join your fellow young alumni aboard the schooner Adirondack for a 2-hour sunset sail along the Hudson River. The event includes an open bar of beer, wine, and champagne. We will be meeting at Chelsea Piers at 3:45 pm, and we should be returning to port at 6:30 pm.

This event was coordinated by Zach Goldstein and the Young Alumni Committee. Cost: $75

All reservations are final sale and required by Wednesda , June 24. The Adirondack is at Pier 62, the northernmost pier in Chelsea Piers on West 23rd Street across from the Hudson River. The number for the company is 646.336.5270 if you lose your way.

Inter-Club Day at Richmond County Ball Park Staten Island Yankees vs. Aberdeen Ironbirds

Sunda , June 28, 4:00 pm

The Richmond County Bank Ballpark provides fantastic views of Manhattan and is located on the most northern tip of Staten Island, adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry terminal. Join Club members for this great day of baseball arranged by the Cornell Club. You’ll receive a limited edition Staten Island Yankees hat, “Play Ball” program, and all the freshly-grilled hot dogs, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, soda, and water you can eat. Plus, all kids under 12 get to run around the bases after the game.
