The Program Committee and the Young Alumni Committee Present: A Night at the Beer Garden

Wednesda , June 10, 6:30 pm

Experience all that NYC has to offer while staying at your Club. Enjoy museums, opera, Broadway shows, historic walking tours, shopping, sporting events, and much more, all taking place this summer. To plan your activities, please visit www.nycgo. com, or, for suggestions, please contact the Program Office at events@ princetonclub.com. In addition, check out all of our monthly member events at www.princetonclub.com. You can make reservations for our events online or by contacting the Program Office directly. Enjoy the city and The Princeton Club. We look forward to having you stay with us.

Come and visit Prague in Astoria, at Bohemian Hall, one of the last of the original beer gardens left in New York City. The hall was built a century ago by Czech and Slovak immigrants and is thriving today due to an influx of young people to neighborhoods in Queens. We have arranged a fun evening in one of the private rooms of the restaurant. Come and drink steins of German and Czech beer, and eat sausage and sauerkraut with knedlicky (Czech dumplings). After our party you will be able to go outside and sit under the linden and elm trees, relax, and think of simpler times - sans cell phones, TVs, and air conditioning. Recapture the feeling of going to a beer garden when you want to stay cool and just chill.

This event was coordinated by Program Committee member Arlyne Krum. Cost: $45 (includes dinner and two mugs of beer)

All reservations are final sale and are required by Frida , June 5. The Beer Garden in located at 29-19 24th Avenue in Astoria. ake the N train to Astoria Boulevard, walk one block to the intersection of 24th Avenue and 31st Street, and you will find the Garden between 29th and 31st Street.

Employee of the Month

Saleh Mohammed has been a beloved part of our Princeton Club team for 11 years. Saleh was born in Bangladesh and came to this country 17 years ago. Although he settled in the Bronx, he finds PCNY to be his true home. Saleh is known throughout the club for his hard work, dedication, and genuine smile. When he is not hard at work in our Tiger Bar & Grill, he likes to go to the park with his wife and their three year-old son, Jarif.
