Digital vector art is recommended for best results. We can work with most files, but prefer Adobe Illustrator for PC or Mac.
PC Accepted Programs:
Macintosh Accepted Programs:
• Adobe Illustrator® (preferred) - version CS3 or earlier • Adobe Photoshop® - version 6.0 or earlier
• Adobe Illustrator® (preferred) - version 10 or earlier • Adobe Photoshop® - version 6.0 or earlier • Quark XPress® - version 7.0 or earlier
We can also work with InDesign if file is saved as an EPS file. When sending vector artwork, make sure to convert all type to curves or outlines. Photoshop files need to be at least 1200 dpi black and while only. We prefer AI, EPS, WMF and PDF file formats. Artwork provided in other file formats cannot be adjusted without distorting the resolution or image. All artwork should be accompanied with a PDF of the layout for reference. Electronic templates are available for all products.
Please send artwork to email@example.com. If file is too large, you may upload to an FTP site or send in on a CD or flash drive. If there are any problems with the files, Eskco will contact you immediately. Include your PO number for refer- ence on files sent.
Eskco offers in-house artwork services. No charges for services will be incurred for the first 30 minutes. If a job requires services beyond the initial 30 minutes, you will be notified. The rate is $50 (G) per hour.
Proofs are required for every order and will be emailed or faxed to the customer. All emailed art proofs are sent with a “clickable” art approval form used to verify approval. This form can be emailed or faxed to approve the proof. Skin proofs and pre-production proofs are also available for additional charge. The charges are:
1 Color Silk Screen – $93.75 (G); plus $50.00 (G) each additional color, 1 Location Foil Stamp and Deboss – $62.50 (G); plus $38.50 (G) each die charge
1 Color Silk Screen – $112.50 (G); plus $50.00 (G) each additional color, 1 Location Foil Stamp and Deboss – $93.75 (G); plus $38.50 (G) each die charge
For orders more than $5,000, proof charges will be waived.
Other Artwork Guidelines
If artwork involves a bleed (the imprint extends off the edge of the product), we require it to extend 3/16 inches. Metallic inks and foils should be avoided if the design requires a bleed. There are additional charges for bleeds.
Except for four-color process work, please use the Pantone Color Matching System, coated only. We will match any coated PMS color with no additional charge. Note when bright colors are printed on a dark substrate (e.g., red or yellow ink on black vinyl), it requires white to be printed underneath, commonly referred to as overprinting.
