Total cost for project: the cost incurred in order to make the asset readily available to operate.  That includes the purchase cost for the asset, shipping and testing costs.  The firm needs to impute opportunity cost for asset that is already owned by the firm, and ignore the sunk costs for the project. Side effects should be also included and considered.

The net working capital increased by the implementation for the project.
