It is imperative that all players and their parents be informed of the process prior to the start of tryouts.
All players must tryout for teams. No player is guaranteed a position without participating in the tryouts but injuries are taken into account by DHO.
The Ice Coordinator, who through the President submits the team league schedule home ice times to the ODMHA Leagues, will do all ice allocations for Club teams. The Ice Coordinator will also assign available practice ice.
The usage of this ice is the full responsibility of the team in whose name the Ice Coordinator assigns it. If the team cannot use the hour from time to time, it is the team’s responsibility to find an alternate user from within the Club or the Home Associations. Appropriate payment or exchange of ice between teams is their responsibility, however the Ice Coordinator must be informed of any changes. Sale to outside parties is prohibited.
Procedures for re-scheduling league games are covered by respective league rules, but the Ice Coordinator must be notified of any changes.
