referred to the Director, Hockey Operations for approval:

a)all tournament arrangements must be in accordance with all CHA, ODHA and ODMHL rules and regulations;

b)tournament entry fees are paid through team budgeting and funding;

teams must enter only officially sanctioned tournaments;

d)at all times and without exception, good manners and sportsmanship are to be displayed by players, coaching staff and visiting parents on the ice, in the rinks and elsewhere.

Although the Club Committee does not specifically restrict the number of tournaments a team may enter, consideration of both financial and league obligations must be considered.  It is further suggested that team parents be involved in the selection and quantity of tournament entries.

The O.D.M.H.A. may rule on a maximum number of tournaments per team in a playing season.  Although this ruling is subject to change from time to time, we must abide with whatever current rulings are in effect.

Well in advance of departure, the following must be arranged:

a)With knowledge of the Ice Coordinator, reschedule any league games during the away period.

b)Through the President, obtain an ODMHA Travel Permit if required.

All games must be sanctioned by the CHA for insurance purposes.  The lack of a Travel permit may cause disqualification from tournament play by the hosting Tournament Director.  Therefore the permit must be available for all required tournaments.  Team officials are subject to disciplinary action for non-compliance with travel regulations.

The team manager is responsible to maintain and have available the validated copy of ODMHA Player Cards and Team List when traveling.  As well, a copy of each player’s birth certificate or other acceptable proof of age should be kept available.  Coaching bench staff should also have evidence of proper credentials, including  NCCP numbers.

Player and Team Management suspensions received within home league play are also in effect when traveling and apply to all tournament and exhibition game activities.  The reverse is also true.  Any suspendable offences collected away
