Bursaries were awarded to 123 students costing R357 012 in 189 courses. The passrate of 91% has been maintained.
-A number of students left the college for the trimester/semester or did not write the exams as little teaching took place.
-Exam results for the previous course were only issued two months later.
-This made it impossible for students to register for the next level, so a full trimester was wasted as they were waiting for results and confirmation of financial support.
-Bursaries could not be confirmed, because it is a requirement to students to have passed the previous course in order to be awarded a bursary.
