5.  Jay County Basic Demographics

5.5 Industry (2002, estimates)

The largest industry in Jay County is Manufacturing with 3,795 persons employed; followed by Health Services with 939 persons employed; and Retail Trade with 912 persons employed.  Table 4 shows percentages for the top five industries relative to the state and nation:
