Distribution.— Cambodia, Vietnam.

Ecology.— In evergreen forest, mixed forest or in open rocky areas in the deciduous forest, also along streams; altitude to 1700 m. Flowering and fruiting periods: October to June.

Notes.— Tarenna vanprukii is similar to T. collinsae in having coriaceous leaves and globose fruits with calyx scars at the apex, but it differs in its broader calyx lobes, longer lanceolate leaves, and its larger inflorescences.
