Minutes of Executive Committee Meeting Held at
Digby Road, Newbury, Monday 6th February 2006
Present – Mick Hutchins, Peter Dolphin, George Athorn, Jill Bosley, John Holt, John Head, Janet Parker, John Carr, Alison Clarke and Shelly Hambrecht.

1. Welcome – Chair welcomed all present.
2. Treasurers Report – Peter Dolphin presented full financial report.
The summary of which was:
REACT Monies are now being channelled through WBDA, no anticipated problems.
Anticipated future spending (for this year, brochure news letter etc)
Accounts to be closed on 31st March so all expenses to be in as soon as possible.
Action - Look into the Colefax charitable trust.
AUDIO LOOP will be funded as a separate item, and some will be VAT exempt.
Chair and committee happy with the state of the accounts.
3. Minutes/matters arising from last meeting –
There was a question about Insurance for installation of React Speakers it is not our problem, it is the installer and the property owner – speaker for react, issues may arise if purchased direct.
Loop audio system – charities are not eligible to pay VAT? Equipment may be zero rated, if goods are manufactured for disabled use.
Article from national press, those who need alternative to chip and pin can apply for a new card which is chip and sign, website Lists categories of those except of using chip and pin from Feb 14th.
