Evaluator, EPSDT Portals Grant, funded by D.C. Department of Mental Health, Georgetown SNHS was a sub-grantee to the D.C. Department of Mental Health on this three-year grant designed to strengthen mental health and other systems of care for youth transitioning out of the foster care system. (2004-2007)

Evaluator, FNP and Nurse-Midwifery Diversity Education Project, funded by HRSA.  This multi-year grant was designed to improve the capacity of family nurse practitioners and nurse midwives to provide clinical services to an increasingly diverse population. (2005-2007)

Deputy Project Director/Strategic Planner/Evaluator, Allied Health/Elders (Under Subcontract to the College of Menominee Nation, Wisconsin).  This three-year innovative grant is designed to develop an Associate of Arts degree program for Allied Health Services for Elders as well as a training program for high school students to provide allied health services for elders.  Dr. Jillson has developed the overall triangulated evaluation research design--qualitative and quantitative methods--and related data collection instruments for use in the needs assessment and evaluation; analyzed the data; trained CMN staff in use of qualitative instruments and analysis of qualitative data using CDC-EZ and ACCESS; selected culturally appropriate standardized instruments for the evaluation; and designed an integrated health and social services model that will be used as a basis for the training.  For the remainder of the project, Dr. Jillson will continue to oversee the evaluation, including data collection and analysis, and will be primarily responsible for preparation of the final evaluation report. Evaluation and Research Adviser, Technical Assistance to Support Local Evaluations, Public Education Initiative Cross-site Study. Contract with Public Education Network (PEN).  Responsibilities include: Preparing for and presenting to meetings of Local Evaluation Fund (LEF) grantee evaluators; providing technical assistance as needed to local evaluators related to preparation of evaluation and implementation plans; providing consultation to PEN regarding review of the LEF grantee Plans; technical assistance to LEF grantees as requested; and preparing a framework tool kit for local evaluations conducted by community-based organizations.  (April 2002-Present)

Program Analysis and Support Team Leader, Computer Consulting and Grant Technical Support Services- Administration for Native Americans (ANA), under subcontract to Master Key Resources, LLC.  Responsibilities include managing PRI’s sub-contractual role, which focuses on knowledge management vis-à-vis the several databases and grant management maintained by ANA, including those related to grant applications and the reviewers.  This includes, for example, designing grant review forms that will be linked to monitoring and evaluation of the grants and to capture of data and information that can be used for public policy formulation; design of ACCESS and other data bases related to the grant reviews; and design of training for grant reviewers.  (June 2002-present)

Evaluation and Research Adviser, National Champions of Active Learning (CAL) Program Evaluation.  Contract with the Public Education Network (PEN).  Responsibilities include: designing the evaluation, including protocol and data collection instruments; reviewing documents related to the 2001/2002 and 2002/2003 grants; conducting site visits; analyzing findings from progress and final reports and the site visits; designing and implementing a survey of grantees from 1995-2002; and preparing an evaluation report.
