THE GEOGRAPHICAL ASSOCIATION WORLDWISE LOCAL QUIZ 2006-7
MIXED BAG ROUND
Note to organiser: This can be used for up to six teams. It should be possible to write extra sets in advance if you have more teams, using the same themes for each question. It would be advisable to remove the Asia map from the screen after Q.6. NB the letters are not in alphabetical order for Q 5& 6. Alternatively you could show the map for a few minutes before the round allowing the teams to make notes on what the letters stand for and then remove it from the screen.
In this round there are 10 questions for each team to answer in ONE minute, with one mark for each correct answer. You may confer, but if your team is stuck say pass. The first audible answer will be taken.
