Get connected during Sept. 6 Networking Breakfast

Helping small business connect with big business, the third Networking Breakfast of 2007 is set for Thursday, September 6, 7:30-9:00am at the Chamber. Presented by the Small Business Networking Task Force, these morning sessions create a link between small and large businesses, provide valuable information and offer attendees the chance to promote their products and services to a wide variety of new potential clients. The power of partnerships

Businesses and schools team up to help local students

The 4th Annual Community Partners in Education Day is set for Friday, Sept. 21. Enjoy breakfast while discussing educational issues with Bakersfield City School District leadership from 8-9:30am at the DoubleTree Hotel. RSVPs are now being taken as the process of matching schools and businesses begins. For more information, contact Steve Gabbitas at 661-631-4619 or visit www.bcsd.com/commpartnerships.
