Students Encouraged to Apply for the TAG Program To Guarantee Admission at Selected UC Campuses Seven UC campuses offer guaranteed admission to California community college students who meet specific requirements. LAVC students who participate in the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program will be guaranteed admission to UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, or UC Santa Cruz. Those students will also receive early review of their academic records, early admission notification, and specific guidance about major preparation and general education coursework. The deadline to apply is Thursday, September 30. The TAG Application is available at http://uctransfer.universityofcalifornia.edu/tag. Attention Faculty, Staff & Students—Selected Student Services Offices will be Closed Starting September 27 Several offices will be moving into to the new Student Services Complex. Faculty, staff and students should be aware that Student Services offices/departments will be closed sometime between September 27-October 13. A complete schedule of closures and opening dates will be noted in the next issue of the College Bulletin.

    Attention Students! The Deadline to Drop Classes Without Incurring Fees and Receive a Refund is September 13. If you want to drop a Fall 2010 class without incurring fees and want to receive a refund of your enrollment fees, you must turn in your drop slip to the Admissions and Records Office (in person or by the Internet) by Monday, September 13.
