The IRSC Nursing Department follows the guidelines of Indian River State College.

Students are selected based on a point system (see below). The NLN score is added to the points to give the students a total score. Applications are selected based on those scores until all seats are filled.

All of the Applicant Review criteria must be met by the application deadline or the applicant file will not be reviewed and scored.
Pre-Admission Exam “composite” score and grade points are tallied for BSC 2093, BSC 2093L, MCB 2010 and MCB 2010L. The most qualified (highest scores) are selected. A sample of the test scores can be viewed on the www.irsc.edu Nursing web page.
Note: Meeting admission criteria does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Students are selected on a competitive basis.
