Membership (Gerdes/Willman): Request for payment of dues was sent out January 2009. Breakdown of membership is a follows: 2005 – 268, 2006 – 265, 2007, 235, 2008 – 223. A concerted effort to increase membership in 2009 will be made.
Newsletter (DeLorm): Deadline of February 15, 2009 for items to be placed in the next newsletter. Articles are requested from the president, membership, programs, technical and education. The next newsletter must also include an article on the banquet and awards presented. Also need picture and bios of the new Board of Director members.

Programs – Golf (Menard): Menard will contact Kirk for assistance on the upcoming April 2009 golf outing. An article is also needed about the golf outing for the next newsletter.
Public Relations (Lane/Schmidt): Will be sending an article to newspapers throughout Nebraska about the recent banquette and those awards handed out. Send articles to newspapers where award took place and to hometown newspaper of scholarship recipients.

AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE FOR THE USE OF CONCRETE IN THE STATE OF NEBRASKA
Eligibility Projects must have been completed by November 2008.
Purpose of ACI Awards The purpose of this competition is to recognize outstanding work in concrete construction and practices within the state of Nebraska.
Criteria (What Are The Judges Looking For?) Projects must be noteworthy for their use of concrete.
Special uses of concrete or concrete construction techniques will be recognized
