The Officers and Directors of the Greater Cincinnati Phila- telic Society extend our best wishes to You and Your Fam- ily in this Holiday Season, and throughout the coming year.

A long standing Greater Cincinnati Philatelic Society tradition continues with the arrival of De- cember and the annual Holiday Party. As in the past several years, we will gather at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Columbia Township on our regular second Monday meeting night, December 10th for an evening of fellowship and food.

The Golden Corral is a buffet style family dining establishment. We will probably be meeting in the large room on the far right as you enter the building at 5325 Ridge Road, which is just south of Highland Avenue, behind the John Nolan Ford sign.

Plan on getting there between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. and leave when you are full, or when they throw us out, whichever comes first.

Prices this year, including a beverage, are $11.68 and $11.18 for seniors over 60 years of age, which is up only 20c from last year. If you elect to drink wa- ter, the price drops to $9.89 and $9.39 for seniors. None of the prices include sales tax or a tip. The club will rebate $5.00 of the cost of your meal for you and a guest, making this an inexpensive evening out.

The buffet selection at Golden Corral is just about the best in the city, with everything from soups to desserts, including steaks. You will be delighted with the large variety of salads, main dishes and des- serts. If you go away hungry, you will only have yourself to blame.

Reservations are encouraged. Call Tony Novello at 574-0018 to let him know you will be there. A sign-up sheet will also be at the next two meetings.

Our President, Tony Novello has promised to have a BINGO game available to create a little com- petition during the get-together. I suspect that there will be a number of prizes for those who successfully complete the requirement of playing bingo.

I will have the club APS circuits available. They can be taken home if you get them back to me.

Many of our members take this opportunity to renew their membership in the GCPS for the coming year. Dues are a mere $4.00 for individuals and $5.00 for a family membership. You can recoup your dues for the year just by coming to the party.
