COMBINATION ART AND HISTORY PROGRAMS
Artists, Engines and Imagination Games, rhymes and a hands-on project make this visit to The Frick Art Museum and Car and Carriage Museum a memorable tour for your students. See how two very different collections and topics can come together in one very interactive museum experience.

Art, Cars and a Victorian House:
Art & History for Primary Grades Now younger students can enjoy a multi-disciplinary morning designed just for them. Lively interaction is the norm as students delve into the world of artists and their creations, compare and contrast modern childhood with that of Victorian boys and girls, and imagine what travel would be like in the days of horse-drawn carriages and rickety Model Ts.
Group size 10 – 75 students Fee $6.00 per student; $7.00 during December and May Hours 3 hours, starting between 9:30 and 10:30 (bring a brown bag lunch)

Art & History Unite! Through this full-day program, students discover the entire Frick Art & Historical Center. The tour is interactive and hands-on—from exploring works of art in The Frick Art Museum to figuring out touchable artifacts in Clayton and the Car and Carriage Museum. A well-rounded interdisciplinary day!
Writing Through Art and Artifact Museums allow students to travel to different times and places and to meet new people and cultures. This tour uses art and artifacts to engage students in observation, personal interpretations, thoughtful responses, and creative writing.
Group size 10 – 30 students Fee $5.00 per student; $6.00 during December and May Hours 2½ hours, starting between 9:30 and 11:00

Supply and Demand: From Artwork to Autos Museum collections plus economics equals learning fun! Students are introduced to the concepts of scarcity and choice, entrepreneurship and industrialization as they explore collections of centuries-old paintings and early 20th century automobiles. Students use their new knowledge to write compelling pitches, then exercise decision-making and judgment as they participate in a lively simulated auction of antique cars and historic artwork.
Group size 8 – 60 students Fee $7.00 per student; $8.00 during December and May Hours 4 hours, starting between 9:30 and 11:00 (bring a brown bag lunch)
