Join the Guild: Late Medieval to Early Renaissance In this workshop, students explore our collection to learn about craft guilds and the role of artisans in medieval life. Select up to two of the five guilds when signing up for this program: Illuminator, Painter, Gilder, Carver, or Stained-Glass Maker. Hands-on project.

Group size 10 – 35 students Fee $5.00 per student, grades 2 – 5 $7.00 per student, grades 6 – 12 Hours 4 hours, starting between 9:30 and 11:00 (bring a brown bag lunch)

Facing Ourselves Portraits tell a story about their subjects and their time. How do I want to be seen? Who am I? How do I want to be remembered? Students answer such questions as they examine portraits from our permanent collection. The workshop concludes with students creating self-portraits using digital photography and collage.

Very informative; very professional team of facilitators, covered so much regarding the 18th century, the court of Versailles, the Revolution, etc. Students were totally engaged the whole day! Great, great job!!!
