If you have really been struggling with your mental health challenges, you may have been assigned a guardian by the Courts. Even still you have rights, including the right to make advanced directives indicating what you would want done if you became so seriously ill that you lost the ability to make rational decisions.

People struggling with a severe mental illness are still humans beings with rights. And you absolutely have the right to know everything about your condition, your treatment options, and your future.
