This calibration is be provided the owner in letter form for use on other projects. It should be signed by the Resident Engineer with copies to the District and State Construction Engineers.
If the distributor or tank has been calibrated by the manufacturer, another DOT, or another AHTD Resident Engineer, the calibration information shall be obtained and the distributor or tank and stick gauge positively identified prior to use on the project. Identification shall include the following data:

The calibration information shall be shown on or attached to the initial daily report which uses the calibration. This initial daily report based on volume measurements using a particular calibration for a distributor or tank shall include the following statement:
"This is to certify that the (distributor/tank/truck) used for (Prime/Tack/Water) on this project was calibrated by (Manufacturer/Another DOT/AHTD) personnel and
verifying documentation is attached hereto.”
Specifications require that all materials paid for by the cubic meter (cubic yard) in vehicles shall be hauled in approved, measured vehicles.
The measurements shall be taken, computations made, and a copy given to the trucker prior to the vehicle beginning hauling operations.
Truck Measurement Form (19-507 or 19-507m), Figures 109-6 and 109-7, shall be used for documentation of the measurements in accordance with the instructions in Subsection 109.11. Pay particular attention to the specified accuracy of measurements
and the rules for rounding off final results of computations. FOLLOWED EXACTLY in order to assure uniformity.

Each Resident Engineer shall use his Residency number as a prefix when assigning a new number to individual trucks. If a truck arrives on the project which has been previously measured and numbered by another Resident Engineer using this system, all dimensions as shown on the trucker's copy of the form should be checked and
transcribed to new forms for the Job files. The original Photocopies of the trucker's form may be used in lieu of individual who checked the measurements shall then sign and
