123.09 Bulletin Boards.
Each Resident Engineer's office shall have a bulletin
board for posting various information of interest to the employees.
123.10 Retention of Records. The following shall be the Department's policy as related to the Resident Engineer's office:
All files shall be maintained on a current basis during construction and until the Final Estimate is prepared and submitted by the Resident Engineer.
All files shall then be held for reference until the PAID copy of the Final Estimate is received by the Resident Engineer.
Upon receipt of the PAID copy of the Final Estimate, all files shall be retained until further notice from the Construction Office.
The Construction Office will notify the Resident Engineer when files may be destroyed.
Generally, Resident Engineers and Resident Engineer
Correspondence in accordance with Subsection 123.08 of this Manual is
the preferred method of communication outside the Department.
In the rare event that a Resident Engineer finds it more appropriate to correspond with persons outside the Department on project matters via E-Mail, the Resident Engineer shall send a copy of the E-Mail to the District Engineer and the Staff Construction Engineer assigned to that District.
123.12 Computer Services User IDs. Department issued User IDs for access to the Department’s network and for access to SiteManager are requested using Form FCS-
098 “Computer Services User ID Request / Deletion Form”.
