Upon completion of the Agreement, HSSB became the registered shareholder of 60% and the Company the shareholder of 40% of the enlarged issued and paid up share capital of RMSB. Accordingly, RMSB ceased to be a subsidiary but remains an associate of the Company.

price is expected to continue.
The Directors anticipate the operating environment for the next financial year will remain competitive and challenging in the light of higher newsprint cost and stiff market competition.
The Group will continue to explore new business opportunities to increase its revenue and profitability.
The Group seeks to become a multi media provider of entertainment and information to our readers. That means not only extending our current capability to publish more, better, and different publications but also developing those skills and resources necessary to exploit new avenues such as the Internet and mobile phone.
The Board has declared a second interim dividend of 2% less tax at 28% per share payable on 21 November 2005.
No final dividend is proposed for the financial year ended 30 June 2005.
