JUNIOR FAIR PRIZE LIST

Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8

RULES:

All junior fair entries must be entered on a pink entry form.

  • 1.

    All exhibits must be prepared, arranged and placed by the exhibitor.

  • 2.

    All exhibits must be in by 12:30 p.m. Friday, August 12th, 2011

  • 3.

    ‗My Photography‘- Pictures must be taken by exhibitor and mounted on construction paper.

  • 4.

    All exhibits must be removed at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14th, 2011. We are not responsible for misplaced exhibits.

  • 5.

    Decision of the judges is final. Anyone entering this class agrees to this regulation (committee members do not judge).

  • 6.

    Students will make entries in all sections according to the grade in which they registered in September 2010.

  • 7.

    Exhibitors are limited to one entry per section.

  • 8.

    Two trophies will be given; one for the Top JUNIOR exhibitor and one for the Top SENIOR exhibitor, excluding the Melbourne Fair Ambassador. Last year‘s winner is not eligible in the same division this year.

  • 9.

    Entries may be submitted one year only.

  • 10.

    Open class unless specified.

*Note: Parents are urged to allow their child(ren) to complete all the work in preparing their exhibits without assistance. Encourage and support them in every way, but remember; the work you do for them defeats the objective of the Fair, which is to teach the boys and girls to do things independently and be proud of their hard work and dedication.

TO QUALIFY FOR AMBASSADOR

  • 1.

    Must be in Grade 5 to Grade 8

  • 2.

    Have entered 8 entries in the Junior fair

  • 3.

    Not eligible to win if you won the previous year. ( EXCEPTION TO THE RULE) IF NO ONE QUALIFIES FOR AMBASSOADOR, ONLY THEN COULD LAST YEAR‘S WINNER QUALIFIES TO WIN AGAIN.

The Ambassador wins an additional $25
