RULES AND REGULATIONS
Five dollars paid to constitute membership. Vehicles for showing will be admitted free on producing entry card.
Persons joining the Society receive one FREE admission ticket.
Admission to grounds for Tractor Pull Sunday, August 14th - adults $10, children 5 - 12 $5. Saturday adults $5, children 12 & under FREE.
Five dollars will be retained from each prizewinner to continue their membership for 2012.
No animal shall compete for more than one Society prize unless where the word “Special” is used.
All articles must be bona fide property of the exhibitor and produce articles must be grown by the exhibitor, of this year’s growth; but Clover, Timothy, Soyabeans and Alfalfa Seed may be grown in 2010.
ALL LIVESTOCK MUST BE ON THE GROUNDS BY THE TIME DESIGNATED IN EACH CLASS AND NOT REMOVED BEFORE 5:00 PM WITHOUT PERMISSION, OR PRIZE MONEY WILL BE FORFEITED
All exhibitors, other than livestock, must have their entries in position by 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 12th, 2011.
No more than one entry may be made by an exhibitor in each section of the following classes: Grain, Eggs, Flowers, Garden Vegetables, Fruits, Baking, Canning, Arts and Crafts, Needlework, Photography and Sheep. No more than two entries may be made in any other section of the list.
While the committee will take every possible precaution under the circumstances to secure the safety of the animals and articles sent to the exhibition, they wish it to be understood that the owners themselves must take the risk of exhibiting them; and that, should any article or animal be accidentally injured, lost or stolen, the committee will give all the assistance in their power towards recovery of the same but will not make any payment for the value of the same.
Parties holding side-shows, displays or games of any kind must at all times allow the officers free admittance, and must immediately leave the grounds if ordered to do so by the Manager of the grounds; failing to do so will be taken in charge by the proper authorities.
All protests against the Award of Judges must be settled by the Managing Committee. A fee of $25.00 must accompany each protest.
All protests in the Speed Specials must be made with the Judges following the speeding event. The decision of the Judge in charge to be final.
The Hall will be open to the public Saturday, August 13th 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Entries may be made prior to Friday, August 12th at Secretary’s Address.
Should there be but one exhibitor in the class or section, the Judges can use their discretion as to awarding premiums, and in all cases when they do not think the animal or articles worthy, they can withhold the premium.
All articles exhibited must be recorded on entry form with the Secretary or no prize money will be paid.
Only one herd prize to be paid any one exhibitor.
