14TH ANNUAL ALUMNI BASEBALL GAME

The 14th Annual Alumni Baseball Game was exciting again this year as the odd years came back to win by a score of 7-2. PEPI LESCANO’83 was the MVP for both his hitting and his defensive contributions. With alum from ’72 to ’00 coming out, all decades were

represented! And with attendance, the Findlan well represented, too! Everybody got together after the game at Billy’s to celebrate a game without injuries! Thank you to all who attended, especially to DAVE FINDLAN ’83 for his continued support of getting everybody together & keeping the game alive!

ALUM COLLEGE ATHLETES IN THE NEWS

Former Raider and FSU soccer star INDIA TROTTER ’03 was named the 2006 South Florida Sun-Sentinel’s College Athlete of the Year. India helped lead the Seminoles to the NCAA Final Four in three out of her four years at FSU. She earned Honorable mention All-American honors as a freshman and went on to become a four-year starter. India also earned All-American status her senior year, making her the first player in FSU history to gain the honor twice. India ended her FSU career with 24 goals

and 18 assists.

AUDRA COHEN ’04, a junior at the University of Miami, captured her second consecutive automatic bid as the #1 seeded player in the NCAA tennis singles championship. Going into the Championship round of 16, Audra is 34-2 for the season and on an 11-match winning streak. She was named the ACC Player of the Year.

C.J. MACIAS ’04 helped lead his IPFW volleyball team to the men’s national title match. IPFW lost the championship game to UC Irvine, finishing their season at 23-8. Macias led his team with 21 kills.

The University of Miami Track and Field Teams have three STA alumni on their roster this season. KYRA MOBLEY ’06, MIKAELA GREEN ’06 and ROLAND DASILVA ’03 are all Hurricane sprinters.

BRADLEY ALLY ’05 swims for the University of Florida and recently won the 200 breaststroke during the SEC Championships.
