The meeting is taking place in the framework of the project “Towards Global EU Action Against Trafficking In Human Beings” implemented by the Ministry of Justice of Sweden in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration in Vienna and with financial support from the Prevention of and Fight Against Crime Programme 2008, European Commission – Directorate-General Justice, Freedom and Security.

The objective of the meeting is to contribute to the implementation of the Action Oriented Paper on strengthening the EU external dimension on action against trafficking in human beings which was approved by the JHA Council on 30 November/1 December 2009 and the 2009 October Declaration on THB.
