By 9/2005

  • o

    90% of lakefront residents will be able to define the watershed area

    • o

      95% will know that the lake is drinking water supply for Ellsworth

By 9/2006

  • o

    75% will know that phosphorus threatens lakes, and know sources of phosphorus to lakes

    • o

      75% will understand how their septic system functions, how bacteria and phosphorus affect lake and drinking water

    • o

      80% will be aware of the new erosion control law

    • o

      70% will inspect their own boats for invasive plants

By 9/2007

  • o

    20% of properties will have had LakeSmart evaluations

By 9/2008

  • o

    50% will be able to identify and correct problems on their own property (or

be able to call the correct resource) that threaten water quality

  • o

    5 residents will close and revegetate a private boat launch area

By 3/2009

    • o

      Local residents will volunteer to monitor the boat launch (CBI) when a paid inspector is not present, for 100% daytime coverage
