Placing a Boil Water Order
Provide appropriate language (Boil Water Order) to owner, manager, or responsible individual for immediate distribution to consumers.
Provide language by phone if deficiency is noted in office, i.e. MCL violation, report of loss of service.
Provide language in person if deficiency is noted during an on-site visit.
Field staff provides handbills to consumers when owner or manager is not present and a deficiency is
