Ghostwriting Reports (Cont.)
An expert report must be prepared by the expert and not by his or her attorney. An expert report prepared mostly from interrogatory answers prepared by the party’s lawyers is not sufficient.

An attorney may provide assistance to an expert in preparing a report. Here the lawyers provided assistance in retyping and incorporating changes authorized by the expert
