Dave built the technical foundations and carved many a creative masterpiece for the multiple Emmy award winning station leading to the esteemed “Overall Station Excellence Emmy” for the NATAS Heartland region in 2004. He himself accumulated 5 Emmys and 1 Telly for his editing, composing and sound design during his tenure at DC8. Bigger goals led to bigger projects outside the television world and Dave’s work on several documentaries and feature films accumulated 4 “Best in…” Festival awards around the country in the past 5 years.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Finance from California State Poly Pomona in 1996 Jeff moved to Denver because it seemed like a good idea. A long time interest in reading, writing, movies and daydreaming then led him to The Colorado Film School where he received “Outstanding Cinematographer” achievement.
Jeff has shot fantastic work that has made people all over laugh, cry or tilt their heads and ponder. He’s shot national commercials, feature films, documentaries, fantastic no budget independent projects and intimate films.
Jeff has a solid understanding of the technical and artistic aspects of Cinematography. He believes in mixing creativity with preparation and efficiency. Jeff’s an easygoing Director of Photography with a clear mission... use light, lenses, angles and intuition to aid the Director in solid story telling.
Notable projects include the feature films Ink, When the Dragon Swallowed the Sun, Spin, 11:59, Blanston and Maze.
